How to choose screw chiller?

1. The main control parameters of screw chiller are refrigeration performance coefficient, rated cooling capacity, input power and refrigerant type.

2. The selection of water chiller should be considered according to the cooling load and use. For the refrigeration system of low load operation for a long time, it is advisable to choose multi-head piston compressor unit or screw compressor unit for easy adjustment and energy saving.

3. When selecting chiller, the unit with higher performance coefficient value should be given priority. According to statistics, the running time of general chiller under 100% load is less than 1/4 of the total running time. The operating time proportion of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% load in the total operating time is approximately 2.3%, 41.5%, 46.1% and 10.1%. Therefore, in the selection of water chiller should be given priority to the efficiency curve of the relatively flat model. At the same time, the adjustment range of chiller load should be considered in the design selection. Multi - head screw chiller with good partial load performance can be selected according to the actual situation.

4. When selecting water chillers, pay attention to the conditions of nominal working conditions. The actual cooling capacity of the chiller is related to the following factors:

A) Outlet temperature and flow rate of cold water;

B) Inlet temperature, flow rate and fouling coefficient of cooling water.

5. When selecting the chiller, attention should be paid to the normal working range of this type of unit, mainly because the current limit of the main motor is the current value of the shaft power under the nominal working condition.

6. Attention should be paid in the design and selection: under the nominal operating flow rate, the outlet temperature of cold water should not exceed 15℃, and the outdoor dry bulb temperature of air cooling unit should not exceed 43℃. If the above range must be exceeded, it is necessary to know whether the use range of the compressor is allowed and whether the power of the main motor is enough.
